Getting timed entry permits to Rocky Mtn NP this s Getting timed entry permits to Rocky Mtn NP this summer🌸✨🥾☀️ 4 Entry Options: • Book reservations a month ahead of time(monthly drops) • Book the night before 7pm local time (nightly drops + the only one I go for bc I never plan my trips) • Go before 9am or after 2pm (for some of the park, no timed entry needed) • Go before 5am or after 6pm to everywhere (no timed entry reservations needed) ✨2 options for booking a specific timed entry ✨ “Timed Entry” (no bear lake road but yes to ridge road) “Timed entry + Bear Lake Road” (yes to everywhere) Plan to make and log in to your reservation.gov account by 6:59pm MT and refresh til 7pm when the slots are open, choose your option and time frame it’ll give you 10 min to pay the $2 and you’ve got your ticket! - it can go quick and you can only get 1 car access per reservation. Usually if you try to go back for a second car they are all booked out. Especially “+ Bear Lake Road” If you’re going with a friend have them try at the exact same time! Don’t buy two tickets, it’s just helpful to have another person trying since they go so fast. If you are considering which one to choose I would definitely recommend the +Bear Lake Road option, this way you can hike a beautiful lake hike and if you have time you can still drive up Ridge Road 👏 P.S. You will still need to pay the regular parks entry fee when you pull up in your car. 🧡
