*me listening to every twig and leaf movement.* *me listening to every twig and leaf movement.* Social media is just the highlight of these trips… You don’t always see the moments when both friends look at each other in the tent saying “did you hear that?” Or the butterflies in the stomach leaving the car praying you packed everything you need. Even though you repacked so many times already just to confirm. Even a solo day hike for me can feel daunting until I’m at the summit proud of myself that I committed to the adventure(: Heck a solo backpacking trip often doesn’t feel 100% relaxing til I’m back in my car post trip. Though I am always so happy I did it! Every trip builds my confidence and joy 🥹 That’s why we do it… even tho the nerves come on.

Heck I did this in half a day 🫶 thanks @luxnlav for reminding me how close I live to Canada! ☝️Don’t wait around for long weekends or vacation time to get out and explore! I bet there’s so much to see even just within a few hours of you 🥾🏔️ Also if you’ve got no one to go with you, do it solo(: I promise you can do it!!! Just let someone know your plans and be safe 👏
