Less overthinking the worst scenarios and more reminiscing on all the good moments and wonderful possibilities.

For me it’s going into the backcountry alone or doing something new that brings this feeling up pretty intense for me.

No one is telling us that we need to only focus on the bad and not the good, especially with our own lives. We get to control our minds and that’s a beautiful thing.

Maybe you do need new shoes but maybe this time you just need a lace adjustment!

1️⃣ Heel lock (runner’s loop)
Prevents heel slip. Lace to the top, loop the last eyelets, cross through loops, pull tight.

2️⃣ Window lacing
Relieves instep pressure. Skip crossing over the painful area, lace straight up, then continue.

3️⃣ Wide forefoot lacing
Reduces toe pressure. Loosen the bottom stitches and maybe even skip the first eyelet, then keep lacing.

Hope this helps save you $ and pain! 🥾🏔️

✨If you do need shoes here are brands I’ve been loving for hiking!! ⬇️
